To turn on Coach Vibrations, press and hold your Lumo Lift for 3 seconds, or enable it through your Lumo Lift app. Your Lumo Lift tracks your posture and activity (steps) all day long, however it will only give vibratory feedback for your posture if you have Coach Vibrations turned on. My Lumo Lift does not buzz when I slouch. You will feel two short buzzes as a confirmation that Coach Vibrations is turned off. To turn off Coach Vibrations, simply press and hold the button on your sensor for 3 seconds. For example, it is possible that a backpack, small child, purse, or seatbelt strap might accidentally turn on Coach Vibrations. If you did not intentionally turn on Coach Vibrations, it is possible that you accidentally activated it by pressing and holding the button on your Lumo Lift sensor. Please note that your Lumo Lift will only vibrate repeatedly if you have Coach Vibrations turned on. We recommend aligning your sensor each morning, every time you change clothes, every time you change positions (sitting to standing, vice versa), before turning on Coach Vibrations, etc. Your Lumo Lift detects posture by looking for deviations to the posture you Aligned your sensor in, so aligning frequently gives your sensor the most accurate, up-to-date information on what posture to look for. My Lumo Lift won’t stop buzzing? For best results, make sure to Align your Lumo Lift frequently. The Lumo Lift will give you 1 short buzz to let you know that you’d turned Coach Vibrations on, and 2 short buzzes to let you know that you’ve turned it off. You can do this through the Lumo Lift iOS app under ‘Coach Vibrations’, the Android app under ‘Coach Vibrations,’ or directly through your sensor by pressing and holding the sensor for 3 seconds. Your Lumo Lift will only provide vibrational feedback for your posture if Coach Vibrations is turned on. A shorter delay like 3 seconds will feel like an intense training session for your posture, while a longer delay like 2 minutes will be more of a posture reminder. You can change the delay under Menu > Coach Vibrations in the Lift app, and the time delay options are anywhere between 3 seconds to 10 minutes. The Lumo Lift will vibrate when it detects slouching, but the time delay in which it provides the vibration is customizable so that you can tailor your experience to what feels right to you. What is Coaching Vibrations and how do I use it? Coach Vibrations is the main feature of the Lumo Lift that will provide vibrational feedback for your posture. This allows your Lumo Lift to understand what your good posture looks like so that it can accurately monitor your posture throughout the day. If you feel like you are receiving vibrations when your posture is good, please Align your sensor by getting into your best posture and double-pressing on the sensor button.
